Enrollment Types

We offer a variety of enrollment options for preschool-aged students (starting at age 2) including half day, extended day, and after-school care.

Families can choose whether they prefer two, three or five day/week enrollment as well. Below are the types of enrollment outlined in greater detail.

Days
Two days - Tuesday & Thursday
Three days - Monday, Wednesday & Friday
Five days - Monday through Friday

Times
8:30am-12:15pm - half day
8:30am-2:30pm - extended day
8:30am-4:30pm - after-school care

Please note:
1. Enrollment days are set and cannot be adjusted.

Hours

Monday through Friday from 8:30am-12:15pm for half day and 8:30am-2:30pm for extended day.
 
We now offer an after-school program until 4:30pm for families needing additional care for their child!

A morning snack is provided; parents/guardians are asked to provide a packed lunch each day.

Please note: Our office hours are from 8:15am-3:15pm. If we are closed, we will return your call/email the following business day.

Daily Flow

Our daily flow follows a natural rhythm designed to minimize transitions and allow children to fully engage in play and experiences.

Below is the general schedule we use, though, it may flex from time-to-time depending on weather, children’s energy levels, etc. These also include cushion for transition times such as potty, hand washing, putting on shoes, etc.

9:30     —   Indoor Play
10:30   —   Outdoor Play
11:30   —   Lunch
12:15   —   Rest Time or Goodbyes (half day)

2:30     —   Goodbyes (extended day)

School Calendar

Our preschool calendar runs alongside our elementary school calendar, operating in three sessions with extended breaks at the end of each session.

This promotes learning retention for children, as well as, provides sufficient breaks for our teachers to recharge so they can give their best each day.

Session 1: August-December
Session 2: January-May
Session 3: June-July

A more extensive calendar will be communicated to all families of enrolled children.

TUITION

Three Days (Monday, Wednesday & Friday)

Five Days (Monday through Friday)
$1,320/month - half day
$1,650/month - extended day
+$220/month - after-school care

FEES
At the start of each school year there is an annual fee that is collected to help cover supplies and materials that support our educators and learning environments.

$120/year - two day/week students
$180/year - three day/week students
$300/year - five day/week students

Our rates ensure we maintain our low teacher-to-student ratios and full service offerings.

Curriculum

Canguros offers our preschool students experiential-based curriculums offered through Blossom & Root.

​Our Lil Jumpers preschool classroom will engage in fun and developmentally appropriate activities with Blossom & Root, while gaining insight on themselves, others, and the world around them. Though this curriculum is designed for homeschool families, it aligns wonderfully with our school structure with small class sizes.

The Canguros classroom is fully immersive, with Spanish and English being spoken by teachers throughout each day.
